King King - The non-L.A. club in L.A. The crowd at King King is not there to be part of a scene, they are there to dance. Or to listen to acoustic performers and indie rock concerts presented by Golden Voice (Coachella promoters) or Indie 103.1. Early in the week, the club hosts edgy underground plays, acoustic artists and all manner of eclectic offerings. On Saturday, it's a night of house music from the ReleaseLA promoters. No wonder San Francisco expats call this club home. King King is not overcrowded and boasts reasonable drink prices and free parking.
